What is Timeraiser Arts?

Timeraiser Arts is an art auction where you can win art by bidding time!

How It Works

The Timeraiser will exhibit a selection of artworks by local artists in Romania selected by our in-house curator, Alejandra Sánchez . Instead of paying with money, you bid time — volunteer hours pledged to local nonprofit organizations. Each artwork has a maximum bid of 120 hours , and winning bidders commit to completing their volunteer hours within a year. Once your hours are fulfilled, the artwork is yours to take home.

Event Schedule

。 3:00-4:00pm – Opening Reception: Take a look at the exhibition, enjoy a drink, and meet representatives from local non-profit organizations . Learn about their missions and discover how you can contribute your time and skills to meaningful causes.

。4:00-5:00pm – Silent Bidding: Pledge the number of volunteer hours you are willing to commit for the artwork of your choice.

。5:00-6:00pm – Winners Sign Contracts & Afterparty: Winning bidders will sign a contract pledging to complete the hours they bid within one year. As for everyone attending, stay for the afterparty and enjoy an evening of art and community.

You will get to know different non-profit organizations and have the opportunity to obtain art created by local artists in Romania.
